Making money online has always been a grey area. Generally internet marketing, for many is hearsay, a hoax, a spook story that everyone hears, but never has seen one. There are lot of questions that creep up in one's mind. Are these real people? Do I have to invest a lot of money on it? Do I need to be a "tech geek" to succed at it?
It is only natural to have all these questions. But if Google pays you money via their Google Adsense program, you have to realize that internet marketing is no spook story. It is very much real. The challenge is to swim through the ocean of internet marketing before you can start making money online. Another way would be to have advertisements of the product on your website or blog. You can also have a combination of these ads with the Google Ads so that you are paid when viewers click on the Google Ads. However you have to make sure that the Google Ads that are displayed are relevant to the content in your website.
But now comes the greatest challenge with regard to letting people know that you are selling your product. For that it is necessary to think ways of driving traffic to your website. Writing articles, purchasing ads to drive traffic to your website, linking to other sites are some of the popular methods.
